Today I returned once again to the heart of İzmir. This walk begins at Konak Square, one of the city's most iconic meeting points, before heading towards Milli Kütüphane Street and eventually disappearing into the endless streets of Kemeraltı Bazaar. Kemeraltı is a place where every street feels different. Some areas are crowded and full of life, while others are quieter, hiding old buildings, small shops, and traces of the city's past. During this one-hour walk, I simply followed the rhythm of the city—listening to the sounds of merchants, people shopping, conversations echoing through narrow streets, and the everyday atmosphere that makes İzmir feel so authentic. After spending most of the journey inside the historic bazaar, we slowly leave its busy streets behind and continue towards Fevzi Paşa Boulevard and Gazi Osman Paşa Boulevard, where the atmosphere gradually changes once again.
