G2G, Guelph to Goderich Rail Trail by bike - The perils of poor planning

I am a cardiac arrest survivor who is pursuing fitness through cycling. I set myself the task of riding the Guelph to Goderich (130 KM) trail in reverse. Not having researched thoroughly I had no idea that in multiple locations the trail took detours. This is a wonderful trail and riding it was a great experience. Every hiccup along the way was my own fault, but they did not spoil my day.
