The Roper Whitney No. 20 Heavy-Duty punch delivers 20 tons of punching power and can be mounted to a bench or taken into the field for work on the job site. This rotary-style punch generates enough power to punch a 1/2 inch hole through 1/2 inch mild steel plate. The throat of the punch allows for punching holes up to 2-1/4 inches from the edge of the material. 3/4 inch pipe (1.050 in OD) up to 4 ft long can be used for a handle. A 4 ft section of handle material with a grip is available for purchase. An optional ratchet handle is also available to operate the punch in close quarters.
