Let's turn our sorrows Into a sword of modern epoch بیا اے راھ چاری ءِ زِرءَ جِتا کنیں چہ دیدگاں Come! Let's separate the sea of waiting from the eyes, چہ کوھی چمّگی ءَ تِنگے آپ ھمسپر کنیں Let's take a gulp of water from a mountainous spring اے بالاچ اِنت He is Bálách, کہ ھر شپ کیت He visits every night منارا نازبوئی اَجگیں ٹالے ءُ عصاے دنت Gives me a soft twig of basil and a staff. منی وابانی گوچان ءَ Inside the sack of my dreams کمانی کْونگے ءُ نیم سوھاں کُرتگیں تیراں شموشیت روت He forgets a pouch of bow and his half honed arrows— And departs. من آس رودیں کوھ ساراں رُستگاں I evolved onto the fire-growing mountains تو گُلزمین ءِ سینگ ءَ چو چَمّگے دراتکگ ئے You, from the chest of land, emerged like a spring. گوں ترا اے زندگی تچیت جوے بینگی With you, this life Flows a river of honey بلے سگارے ءِ کش ءَ نوں سَر مہ گِر But now don't set out beside a sword من لیڑھانی گَم شِپاد کُرتگاں I've made the sorrows of male camels barefoot. اے گُلزمین وت اِسپَرے This land is a shield itself بس تیرے ءِ تَلَب بکن کمانے بس بدے منا Just ask for an arrow And give me a bow. بیا اِت منی بْراھندگاں Come, my friends, come along; منا ٹِکّے چِتگ جوریں بداں My enemies have defamed me. زَرد گَشتگاں چو تیجگاں I have grown pale as melons, پَر واست ءِ پُلّیں ھمبلاں Longing for my beloved friends. دودا ءِ مھراں زراں I yearn for the love of Dódá دودا گوں ھپتاد کُنگر ءَ Dódá, with his seventy warriors, کبر انت ھما ڈَنّ ءِ سر ءَ Who lies buried on that plain.
