CHOSEN BY GOD | THE DAILY GOSPEL | WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2026

🙏 THE DAILY GOSPEL | WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2026 ✨ Theme: Chosen by God, Called to Serve Welcome to The Daily Gospel — your daily moment of prayer, Scripture, reflection, and connection with our Lord Jesus Christ. Today, Wednesday, October 28, 2026, we celebrate the Feast of Saints Simon and Jude, Apostles. Have you ever wondered why God has placed you in a particular family, workplace, or community? Do you sometimes feel ordinary or believe you have nothing special to offer? Today's Gospel reminds us of a beautiful truth: God has chosen you, and He can work through you to bring love, hope, healing, and kindness into the lives of others. In today's Gospel from Luke 6:12–19, Jesus spends the night in prayer before choosing His twelve apostles. Through this powerful example, we learn the importance of prayer, trusting God's guidance, and answering His call with faith. 💖 IN TODAY'S DAILY GOSPEL, WE REFLECT ON: ✝️ The First Reading: Ephesians 2:19–22 📖 The Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 19:2–3, 4–5 🕊️ The Holy Gospel: Luke 6:12–19 🙏 Today's Reflection: Chosen by God, Called to Serve ❤️ Closing Prayer for guidance, strength, and compassion 🌿 TODAY'S MESSAGE You don't have to be perfect to serve God. Your prayers, your kindness, your compassion, and your willingness to help others can make a difference. Remember: God doesn't ask us to do extraordinary things every day. He asks us to do ordinary things with extraordinary love. Let us ask the Lord to guide our decisions, strengthen our faith, and help us become instruments of His peace and love. 🙏 LET US PRAY TOGETHER Heavenly Father, help us recognise that we are chosen by You and called to serve. Give us the courage to use our gifts and talents to help others. Guide our steps, strengthen our faith, and fill our hearts with humility, compassion, and love. May our lives become instruments of Your peace and hope. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen. ✨ A SMALL REQUEST If today's Gospel reflection touched your heart: 👍 Like this video to support our channel. 💬 Comment "Lord, guide me and help me serve You" as your prayer today. 📲 Share this video with someone who needs encouragement. 🔔 Subscribe to The Daily Gospel for daily Gospel readings, Catholic reflections, and heartfelt prayers.
