A magical Halloween experience in Dublin — the Macnas Fiáin Parade 2026

The streets of Dublin came alive with a spectacular outdoor performance featuring giant puppets, dramatic costumes, music, drumming and theatrical storytelling. Inspired by Irish folklore and the wild spirit of the West of Ireland, Fiáin showcased the incredible creativity and imagination of Macnas. More than just a parade, it was a celebration of the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain — the traditional Irish marking of the end of harvest and the beginning of winter, which is closely linked to the origins of Halloween. 🌙🍂 For one unforgettable evening, Dublin’s streets were transformed into a magical world where art, mythology and community came together.
