In Episode 2 of my Timberborn Beaver Power Only Challenge, the colony faces its first real test as droughts grow longer, water reserves come under pressure, and every part of the settlement must be powered solely by hardworking beavers. We expand our badwater diversion network, begin planning a massive industrial district, tackle the challenge of scaling food and water production, and start designing a huge beaver housing complex to support the workforce needed for future automation. With no engines, windmills, or alternative power sources allowed, every new workshop comes with a steep population cost, forcing careful management of jobs, resources, and efficiency. As we prepare for future badtides, unlock key technologies, and lay the foundations for a much larger colony, the true difficulty of this challenge starts to reveal itself.
