Bernadette - "Abide With Me" for accordion

Written by Scottish Anglican cleric Henry Francis Lyte in 1847. "Abide With Me" is a Christian hymn that is a prayer for God to stay with the speaker throughout life and death. The hymn tune most often used with this hymn is "Eventide," composed by English organist and church musician William Henry Monk in 1861. This is a request from one of my subscribers. I have always found the song very comforting. It holds a special place in my heart since it was played at my grandfather's funeral. I hope you enjoy my interpretation.
