DON'T TOUCH IT: Hunting the D-Series Remains | Resident Evil 7 (Part 8)

Marguerite may be gone, but the Baker estate still has far deadlier surprises waiting in the dark. 🧊🗝️ Picking up from Zoe’s trailer safe room with Marguerite’s lantern in hand, Part 8 sends Ethan back into the Old House to claim the D-Series arm—only for an unhinged family member to hijack the rescue mission: • Unlocking the Second Floor: Ethan balances Marguerite’s lantern on the scale mechanism, opening the blocked passageway leading to the Old House's upper floor and Eveline’s haunting childhood bedroom. • The D-Series Remains & A Fleeting Vision: Reaching deep into the hidden alcove, Ethan claims the mummified arm from the altar. As he turns, a ghostly glimpse of Eveline darting down the hall confirms we are not alone. • An Empty Trailer & Lucas's Call: Zoe calls Ethan back to the trailer to assemble the serum, but arriving at the courtyard reveals she has vanished. The telephone rings, and Lucas Baker takes over the line—mocking Ethan and revealing he has captured both Zoe and Mia for his twisted "party." • The Head in the Fridge: Following Lucas's sick instructions, Ethan opens the trailer's refrigerator to find the decapitated head of the police officer, inscribed with a clue pointing straight to the basement morgue. • Return to the Dissection Room: Navigating the Main House once more, Ethan tracks down the Deputy’s mutilated body to rip the coveted Snake Key from inside his chest cavity. • The Safe Room: Unlocking the yellow door and securing the Snake Key, Ethan retreats to the safe room to prepare for the deadly trial Lucas has orchestrated.
