2026 AIEI BMD Insights for Success Webinar Series: 2:3 | BMD Progress Report: Insights from Six DOTs

Five years after FHWA’s original multi-State BMD site visits, a new round of interviews captured how these States have progressed and why these shifts occurred. This session is anchored to the “Eight Tasks for BMD Implementation” and highlights progress and pain points in Illinois, Louisiana, Maine, New Jersey, Texas, and Virginia. Participants will gain actionable insights and clear examples on validation, acceptance, volumetric relaxation, long-term aging, production quality control, and regional collaboration.
