WORC 1310 PAMS series 42 jingles - 1972

These are jingles from the PAMS series 42 "The Igniters" which WORC 1310 in Worcester, MA began using in April of 1972. About a third of them are the actual jingles off my air checks and the rest have been "re-imagined" using the 'ORC stuff and the WABC package that is on the web (it was quite helpful that both station's call letters end in C). The master reel that was around the WORC studios forever is apparently lost and unfortunately none of us ever thought to run off a copy and so I made this effort which actually, in the case of the recreations, sounds pretty close to the originals as I remember playing them on the air. DJs during the time these jingles were in use include: Dick Smith, Chris Roberts, Norm Laramee, Bob Frost, BJ Dean, Jack Diamond, Jay Stevens, Clyde Anderson, Dave O'Gara, Gary Scott, Steve Hamilton, Fred Christian, Les Arnold, Stan Hilton, Don Palmer, Bob Keller, Johnny Dowd, Paul Connors and Pete Horn. In Studio B on the news were: Stephan Kaufman, Philip James Lagios, Paulie Simon, Sue ???, Meredith Vieira, Barbara Dempsey, Susan Sullivan, Rhonda Castelline, Lucy MacKenzie, Aviva Freudmann and Larry Novello. Meredith and Paulie went on to big-time success. Meredith on national TV and Paulie as a jock in New York and LA. Also, Jack Zona and "Jock Talk". Those were the days....
