Dark Souls 2: Remastered with DLSS 5 + Path Tracing | Modlist

Dark Souls 2 was originally envisioned with a much darker, more reactive lighting system, but much of that visual ambition was scaled back before release. More than a decade later, modding is finally allowing us to push Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin much closer to that original vision. This showcase features my auto-install Dark Souls 2 Next Gen modlist, combining major visual and gameplay upgrades into one setup. It includes reworked lighting, upgraded textures, gameplay changes, redesigned areas, path-traced visuals and experimental DLSS 5 Neural Rendering. This setup is also using Double Pass DLSS 5, essentially running two DLSS 5 neural-rendering passes together to experiment with how far the image quality can be pushed. The result is a darker and more atmospheric version of Drangleic with significantly improved lighting, materials, textures, environments and overall presentation.
