The Song of Jericho – Before the Walls Fell | Christian Worship (Official Audio)

Before the Walls Fell is an original worship song inspired by the story of Jericho in Joshua 6. This song is not about the moment the walls fell—it is about the faith that kept walking before anything changed. Day after day, the people of Israel walked in silence, trusting God's promise even when they could not yet see the miracle. Sometimes faith looks like taking one more step when nothing around us has changed. May this song encourage you to keep trusting God, even when the answer has not yet come. "By faith the walls of Jericho fell down..." — Hebrews 11:30 (KJV) The Song of Jericho – Before the Walls Fell No battle cry No victory song Only footsteps Moving on Only footsteps One by one Trusting You Though nothing's done The city stood before our eyes High and strong against the sky Not one stone had moved at all Still You told us "Walk." So we walked beneath the morning sun Without a word Not by the sword Only hearts that chose to trust The God who spoke before we saw Day after day Nothing changed Only Your promise Stayed the same One more step One more day Though I cannot see the way One more step Holding on To the promise You have spoken Faith keeps walking When eyes cannot see Faith keeps trusting Before victory One more step One more day Some were weary Some were afraid Some wondered if We'd lost our way Children asked "Why do we walk?" No one answered We just walked The walls still stood The sky was still But every step Obeyed Your will You never asked us To understand Only to walk Holding Your hand One more step One more day Though I cannot see the way One more step Holding on To the promise You have spoken Faith keeps walking When eyes cannot see Faith keeps trusting Before victory Six long mornings Nothing changed Six long evenings Still the same Yet every step Was not in vain Every step Was calling out "You are faithful" "You are faithful" Then came the seventh morning Not because We were stronger Not because We were enough But because Your word Never fails One more step One more day Every promise finds its way One more step Holding on To the God who leads us on Faith kept walking Before we could see Faith kept singing Before victory And when Your perfect time had come The walls Fell down Not by power Not by might But by faith We walked Thank you for listening.
