What to do Against an Excellent Faceoff Specialist | Lacrosse | POWLAX

What to run when the other team's faceoff specialist is just better than yours. This is the follow-up to POWLAX's faceoff plays video, built for the games where you're flat-out outmatched at the X. Patrick shows real clips of a dominant faceoff specialist winning clean, then breaks down how to lock the wings, force a decision, and turn a loss into a scramble your team can actually win. The goal isn't stopping every win, it's turning a 90-10 disadvantage into something closer to a coin flip. ⏱ CHAPTERS 0:00 When you're outmatched at the faceoff 0:54 Mixing up looks against a dominant specialist 1:48 Locking the wings to force a decision 2:42 Live reps against a faceoff win 3:37 Handling multiple pulls forward ▶ Build these faceoff plays free in the Play Designer: app.powlax.com/draw ▶ Install them in your team playbook with Team HQ: app.powlax.com ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🥍 Free Play Designer — build any drill or play: app.powlax.com/draw 🥍 Team HQ — practice plans, playbooks & player development: app.powlax.com 🔔 Subscribe for new lacrosse drills, strategies & coaching systems 📸 Instagram / Facebook: @POWLAX 📸 X / TikTok: @POWLAX22 📸 Linkedin: @Patrick Chapla POWLAX.
