14 Bolt Mini Spool Install in an Eaton HO72 Rear Axle

In this episode, I install a precision gear 14 bolt mini spool in an Eaton ho72 rear axle. There was a little machine work in the process to make it fit but it works great! I got the idea after finding out 14 bolt side gears fit in the carrier, allowing you to run 14 bolt axle shafts which are much easier to find. If you just use the 14 bolt side gears, you will have to cut down the 14 bolt axles a little to make them fit. The precision gear mini spool has the axle shaft hole bored all the way through allowing you to use the shafts uncut. The Eaton ho72 truly is and underrated and over looked axle in the 4x4 world.
