God planted the vineyard, built its walls, dug the winepress, and raised the tower. He provided generously, then came seeking the fruit that belonged to Him. The tenants answered His goodness by attacking His servants and killing His Son. In Matthew 21:33–46, Jesus confronts Israel’s religious leaders through the parable of the wicked tenants. Their rejection would bring judgment, but it could never overthrow God’s purpose. The rejected Son would become the cornerstone. This passage also calls the church to humility. We have an embarrassment of blessings, and much is required of those who have received much. Religious activity cannot replace repentance, holiness, and love. Only through Christ can we bear the fruit God requires. The vineyard belongs to Him. Are we faithfully tending what He has entrusted to us? Join Pastor Austin W. Tucker at Gracepointe Church as we consider God’s generous provision, our responsibility as stewards, and the certain victory of Jesus Christ. #Matthew21 #ParableOfTheWickedTenants #JesusChrist #GracepointeChurch
