Wife's 911 Call Backfires Horribly

Police bodycam shows a children's book author arrested in Perrysburg, Ohio after a search for her missing husband. Officers were trying to question her when things escalated, and she ended up in handcuffs. Police say she struck an officer. She is presumed innocent. Her husband was found safe at a nearby bar. The incident happened in September 2024. Kristin Winovich called police after her husband's phone location made her fear he'd gone into the Maumee River near Perrysburg. Officers searched the area while others tried to get information from her. She was charged with assault on a peace officer, obstructing official business, and disorderly conduct.
