ÖTKÖB VINYL SESSION VOL9 / BUCK SHAMAN VINYL ONLY DJ SET MISKOLC CITY REPRESENT BUCK SHAMAN is a vinyl collector, selector and electronic music enthusiast with a background rooted in live instrumentation. As a teenager, he played bass in punk and alternative hip-hop bands, while also performing percussion in a world music project. His fascination with electronic instruments, drum machines, synthesizers, effects and sound synthesis has since evolved into a constantly changing collection of gear, which he uses to explore sound on a hobbyist level. Although he had been watching friends mix vinyl with envy since high school, he only started building his own record collection a few years ago. What began as a long-held ambition has since grown into a genuine passion. Musically, he considers himself omnivorous but selective, always on the lookout for the finer things. Recorded at Ötköb Cottage, an urban loft accommodation with raw industrial vibes in the heart of Miskolc.
