He is the founder of the Khanqah-e-Hydari, situated in the Pir Panjal mountain ranges of Aishmuqam. He established the Khanqah on his ancestral lands to revive the traditional spiritual practices introduced to Kashmir by the legendary Sufi saint Mir Syed Ali Hamadani.
