Welcome behind the scenes of a romantic equine photoshoot on a beautiful farm in the Netherlands. Some of my favourite photographs aren’t created in perfect or carefully controlled locations. They happen when I can work with what is already there: the light, the surroundings, the horse, the person and most importantly, their connection. In this video, you’ll get a real look at how I approach an equine photoshoot on a Dutch farm. From creating a comfortable atmosphere to guiding the client and horse, I’m always looking for those small moments of connection and spontaneous touches that make an image feel alive. My photography is recognisable by its romantic atmosphere with a slightly mysterious touch, but the most important part of every photoshoot is the bond between horse and human. That connection is the thread running through my photography, workshops and photography trips. I’m Eliane, a professional equine photographer from the Netherlands with Swiss roots.
