Kids WB Promos & Bumpers, New Years (early January) 2001

From my VHS recordings, here are some bumpers and promos from Kids WB that aired in early January, 2001. This was taken from a couple of rerun episodes of Men in Black that I apparently recorded in early 2001. I don't have full commercial breaks, but these give you an idea of what Kids WB was like during this period. This was the start of a year of change for the world. It's also arguably the start of the 2nd half of Kids WB (from 1995 to 2008). There was no more Animaniacs/Pinky & the Brain reruns by this point, and action cartoons (and anime imports) were now the focus of the channel. Included here: 1. The last few seconds of a"Dubba Clubba" promo (I've mentioned this in previous videos, but "Joe Cool" and the "Dubba Clubba" was the local Kids WB educational/contest promo segments for WBXX, the local WB affiliate, which would sometimes air inbetween episodes). 2. The WB Channel "Happy New Year" bumper (for WBXX out of Knoxville, TN). 3. Kids WB line-up promo (featuring Men In Black, Max Steel, and 2 episodes of Pokemon). 4. Kids WB "Happy New Year 2001!" bumper (featuring Static Shock). 5. Men in Black bumper (hazardous driving) 6. Men in Black end credits (featuring a Batman Beyond promo. Actually, I like that this promo used footage from the final episodes of Season 2 and the first few episodes of Season 3). 7. Kids WB "2001" bumper (featuring Agent K) 8. Men in Black series promo ("Common Phrases in Law Enforcement"). 9. Pokemon promo ("Today at 4!"). 10. Kids WB line-up promo (featuring Men In Black, Batman beyond, and 2 episodes of Pokemon). 11. Kids WB bumper (The Kids WB logo does an impersonation of King Kong). 12. Kids WB/Men in Black bumper (Agent Jay hanging on for dear life). 13. Men in Black bumper (featuring Jackie Chan and Static Shock promos). 14. Kids WB/Batman Beyond bumper Stay tuned, more to come!
