Making a Bookshelf Cozy Zone for my Ferrets (aka ferret proofing my bookshelf)

I use a saw?? It's really hot out?? SK8 THE INFINITY SAVES THE DAY???????? That's a lot for 24 minutes but it happens, my dudes. I love ferret proofing so much, it's always super fun to find creative ways to solve problems. Today's problem was figuring out how to stop my ferrets from pushing things from the bottom shelf of my bookshelf, and using it as a litter box when it was empty. Not to brag but....
