Part4 "From Curse to Cure: Christ Has Redeemed Us" Deuteronomy 28 lays out the weight of the curse: sickness, plagues, and disease followed those who turned from God's law (vv. 58-61). It's a sobering picture of humanity's condition apart from God. But Galatians 3:13 delivers the turning point: Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. On the cross, He carried what we deserved. The curse that once stood over us was taken onto Himself. Deuteronomy 23:5 shows this has always been God's heart: He refused to let Balaam's curse stand and turned the curse into a blessing, because He loved His people. What He did for Israel, He did fully in Christ. Galatians 3:14 completes the story: the blessing of Abraham now reaches us through Jesus, and we receive the promise of the Spirit by faith, not by perfect performance. 𝑲𝑬𝒀 𝑷𝑶𝑰𝑵𝑻𝑺 The curse was real: sin has consequences, including brokenness and sickness. The cross was enough: Christ bore the curse in our place. Love is the motive: God turns curses into blessings because He loves us. Faith receives it: the promise comes through trust in Jesus, not our own effort. Closing Line "The same love that turned Balaam's curse into a blessing hung on a tree for you. Come to Christ in faith and receive the blessing of Abraham." 𝑨 𝑷𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑵𝒐𝒕𝒆: Scripture affirms Christ's redemption and God's power to heal, but healing doesn't always come in the way or time we expect. You may want to encourage the sick to seek God in faith while also pursuing medical care, and to reassure those still waiting that God's love for them is not in question.
