2026 September SAFE Network - Implementing Safe Streets at the Local Level

The SAFE Network is about making our streets safe on a local level through passing supportive policy, ordinance and roadway design. Our panel of elected officials will share their perspective on how to move initiatives forward, navigate decision making, and manage pushback to get to safe streets for all. Join us to hear their lessons learned and better understand the important role of citizen support. Panelists Mayor Emily Jabbour – Hoboken Councilwoman Krista Weaver – Hopewell Councilwoman Christine McGrath – Verona Moderator Paul Mickiewicz, NJBWC Program Manager
