Get it now → www.mntra.io/product/naada/ Cello virtuoso and Producer Jake Charkey improvises over a drone in Naada and produces a piece with our in-house recording artist Carolina Rodríguez. The result is a meditative and soaring track that takes us on a journey from traditional sonic atmospheres to contemporary synthetic textures. The transformation of the sources in time allows for the mutual coexistence of the simple and the complex through timbre, rhythm, and phrasing. About Jake:   / jakecharkey   About the instrument: Naada (नाद or Nāda) is the Sanskrit term for "sound" or "tone". Rooted in the ancient wisdom of Nada yoga, practitioners believe that sound waves, or nadas, serve as the invisible thread linking the outer and inner cosmos. According to this philosophy, the universe itself resonates with the vibrations of nadas, hidden energies that connect all existence. With Naada, we present a contemporary instrument rooted in millenary practices and instruments from both the north and south of India. Learn more about Naada → www.mntra.io/product/naada/
