Ford Ranger - Sway Bar Link Replacement (2017 PX2)

It seems like every trip I'm replacing something lately and yet again I was under the Ute after a recent tour of ours , Desert to Dunes generally a relatively easy drive through Big Desert, sections of the Border track and then along the ocean from Robe to Beachport. Everything was going smoothly until I heard a loud crack (I suspected a CV), but I found the bottom of the sway bar link had snapped off just above the ball joint, so we removed the broken section and continued the trip. There was minimal difference, some additional clunking here and there but nothing out of the ordinary when 4WDing. On return to Mildura I ordered in some genuine Ford links as I was unsure about the previous brand. A couple of days later and it was time to put them in, I could have picked a cooler day, but the weather has been 40 odd every day for a few days now. Things you will need to do the job - Jack to lift car Socket (19mm or 21mm) to take your wheel nuts off. 6mm allen key to hold threaded rod 19mm spanner (open or ring) to undo the nut from ball joint. Socket (13mm) to remove brake line to give some clearance.
