Today we’re in Chanthaburi — maybe Thailand’s most underrated province and hands down one of the country’s best food towns 🇹🇭. I’m on my annual pilgrimage to grab my favourite noodles in all of Thailand: an absolutely epic bowl of tom yum seafood noodles at Je Eed. Trust me, it’s worth the trip alone! While we’re here, we couldn’t resist diving into Chanthaburi’s famous night market, where we tried the legendary Somboon Khao Tom — a local institution serving up next-level seafood porridge and side dishes. Fresh seafood is the name of the game here and it did not disappoint! Chanthaburi is often seen as just a stopover on the way to Koh Chang, Koh Kood, or Koh Mak — but it deserves so much more recognition. The food scene here is unreal and the town itself is packed with charm, history, and riverside cafés.
