Doctor Who (60 Years Of Who) || Asylum Of The Daleks || Where Is My Mind?

From series 7A Asylum of the Daleks is definitley my favourite of the first four episodes. I loved the asylum planet & the twist at the end with Oswin, it taught twelve year old me about souffle's & I love that shot where The Doctor is carrying Amy out of the burning ward. What lets this episode down for me is the Amy & Rory are getting divorced sideplot, had that not been in the episode, I would consider Asylum of the Daleks to be one of the best episodes of all time because of the way it explores the Daleks, the sets & cgi. I love that shot of a ruined Skaro at the beginning because it's the first time we've seen a version of Skaro in New Who & it's amazing to think that this episode came about because of the First Doctor's second serial, 'The Daleks' & I just think it's incredible to see the Skaro in Asylum of the Daleks compared to the still brilliant sets they had back in the 60's. We have a lot to thank the first seasons of Doctor Who for. Fandom: Doctor Who Episode: Asylum Of The Daleks Song: Where Is My Mind?
