Yuengling Brewery | NEPA @ Work | WVIA Documentary

We’re excited to debut a NEPA @ Work, a brand-new digital series, produced in collaboration with Discover NEPA with support from Coterra! In our first episode, we explore the rich history and legacy of Yuengling Brewery, America’s oldest operating brewery, located in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. Established in 1829 by German immigrant David Yuengling, the brewery has been family-owned and operated for 195 years, with its fifth generation currently at the helm. We take a closer look at the brewing process, from the hand-dug caves used for natural refrigeration before electricity to the creation of their flagship Lager in the 1980s that propelled their success. Join us as we tour the historic brewery, learn about its artifacts, and discover why Yuengling continues to be a symbol of American success. NEPA @ Work is presented in partnership with ‪@DiscoverNEPA‬ (https://discovernepa.com/) and supported by Coterra (https://www.coterra.com/) in collaboration with Ben Franklin Technology Partners (https://benfranklin.org/) #YuenglingBrewery #AmericasOldestBrewery #BrewingHistory #FamilyOwned #MadeInPennsylvania #PottsvillePA #AmericanBeer #CraftBrewery #BeerLovers #SessionableBeer #YuenglingLager #BeerTradition #HistoricBreweries #AmericanLegacy . . . . .
