Doug Berry of the Eastern Sierra Region of California and Nevada visits the historic and scenic Dangberg Home Ranch located in the spectacular Carson Valley east of Lake Tahoe. Kellie Zuniga of the Mineral County Museum of Hawthorne, Nevada is our guest. Our host is Kim Harris of the Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park. Douglas County, Nevada with road trip footage along the West Walker River at Wilson Canyon in neighboring Lyon County. Heinrich Friedrich Dangburg immigrated legally to the USA from his native Germany in the late 1800's, in 1857 he established the largest ranch in the valley, at over 48,000 acres that was a four generations business thru 1987.
