Modi Marks 'National Unity Day', Oppn Holds 'Mock Sansad' | Vote Chori Row Escalates | Newshour

On National Unity Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked the occasion, while the I.N.D.I.A bloc held a 'Mock Sansad' to raise allegations of vote theft and question the legitimacy of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Rahul Gandhi called the 2024 election illegitimate, while the mock parliament saw the Chief Election Commissioner being symbolically 'impeached'. The BJP hit back by calling Jawaharlal Nehru the 'first vote chor', adding another layer to the political face-off. With the opposition choosing a mock parliament over the actual Sansad, questions are being raised about the political messaging, the Election Commission and the role of parliamentary institutions. #nationalunityday #narendramodi #rahulgandhi #votechori #mocksansad #indiabloc #bjp #congress #electioncommission #cec #timesnow #englishnews Times Now - Times Now News channel examines news with in-depth analysis.
