Halloween and The Word

Naming it for what it is because many claiming to follow Jesus are actually opening gates to invite evil into their lives. And not just their lives, but also the lives of those around them! I mention 1 Thessalonians 5:22 and Proverbs 4:23 in this message but another that comes to mind is "Fear not" or "Do not fear". Some arrangement of those similar words are mentioned more than 70 times in the Bible. So, I ask you, as a follower of Christ, if the LORD admonishes us so much to not be afraid then why would we be willing to deliberately introduce fear into our lives? It really doesn't align, does it? There are many teachers who can run down a multitude of verses to make a case against celebrating Halloween for the believer in Jesus. But, I personally, read these few Scriptures and it is abundantly clear. I know we are all on different levels of growth in the Lord. I am not judging. I am simply sharing what I know in hopes it will help somebody close the door they may have opened to evil. Evil is real. Who needs to make it up when we have it so real and present every single day? Love, grace, and PEACE ...not fear, Rhonda This is the link to listen to 1 Thessalonians 5, it's really good :    • 1st Thessalonians 5 - NKJV (Audio Bible & ...
