Swatching A. Gallo watercolour paints #artsupplies #watercolor #relaxingvideo

A. Gallo is Alina Gallo, an artist who was born in Long Island, New York, but currently living in Assisi, Italy. Her watercolours are handmade using traditional recipes, and they contain raw pigments, honey, gum arabic and rosemary essential oil. These watercolours are environmentally friendly as they are cadmium, cobalt, lead and mercury free. In this video, I'm swatching the essential six set - lemon yellow (PY3), Indian yellow (PY110 + PY154), vermillion red (PR255), permanent carmine (PV19), transparent cerulean (PB15:3) and ultramarine blue (dark) (PB29). First impressions - these watercolours re-wet easily even without adding a drop of water first and feel smooth on the paper. And colours... they are just beautiful 😍. It's a great starter set that contains three cool and three warm primary colours to cover the needs of most artists. Materials used in this video A.
