Folk dance “Kelaghayi” performed by Folk Dance Ensemble “Butá"', solo Leyla Jafarova. This special performance took place during the vibrant Novruz celebration on March 17, 2026, in Mežaparks, Riga, Latvia. The event was organized by the embassies of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, bringing together traditions, music, and dance in a joyful celebration of spring and cultural heritage. We extend our sincere appreciation to the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Latvia for its valued support in providing traditional costumes, as well as authentic silk scarves adorned with traditional ornaments known as Kelaghayi, for our ensemble.
