Watch Dan turn a raw log on the lathe into a unique friction-fit wooden lidded box with a custom curved shape, finial lid, and a polished wax finish. Welcome back to the shop! In this video (Episode 57), I set out to turn a gourd-style box inspired by Bill Bowers' book "Turning Boxes with Friction-Fit Lids."
