Iowa beat Towson 73–45, but the final score doesn’t tell the whole story. I was at Carver, and while the defense, rebounding, and individual performances gave us plenty to celebrate, the offense still has work to do. In this CC Report On Campus reaction, I examine why Iowa’s four-out offense stalled, how hesitation and limited ball movement made possessions harder, and what needs to change to get Ava Heiden more involved. Plus: Dani Carnegie’s second-half response, McKenna Woliczko’s impact, Taylor Stremlow’s contributions, and the defensive foundation that helped Iowa pull away. These are fixable problems for a new group learning a new system—but with UConn approaching, the next steps matter.
