中古のRed Wing 8167（スエード）をきれいにし、ボルトオン！ / Cleaning Up a Used Red Wing 8167 and Adding Bolt-On Zipper™

中古で手に入れたRed Wing 8167 ラフアウト。 ボルトオンする前に、まずはスエードをしっかりお掃除。 スエードブーツのクリーニングって、意外と「これでいいの？」という情報も多いので、今回は実際に8167を使って、試してみました。 開発者のnori.leatherとスタッフのJTで、あれこれ話しながら「ゆるく」やっています。 履き古したブーツは、革が柔らかくなっていて、すでに足に馴染んでいる。 新品とはまた違う、気持ちのいい履き心地があります。 「そういえば、昔履いてたブーツがあったな」 「中古でも、まだまだ楽しめるんじゃない？」 そして最後は、自分たちでボルトオン。 特別器用じゃなくても、必要なものを準備して、手順通りにやってみれば、ちゃんと取り付けられました。 そんなところも、実際の作業を通して見てもらえればと思います。 ただ、問題も... ※今回はかなりゆるい感じで進めています。細かいところはあくまで参考程度に、どうぞ気軽にお楽しみください。 A used Red Wing 8167 Roughout we picked up. Suede boot cleaning can be surprisingly confusing, so this time we simply tried it out on the 8167 and kept things pretty casual. nori.leather, the developer of Bolt-On Zipper™, and JT, a staff member, just worked on them casually while chatting about this and that. Well-worn boots have soft leather that has already molded to your feet. They offer a different kind of comfort from a brand-new pair. “Wait, I used to have a pair of boots like these...” “Maybe an old pair can still be enjoyed.” And in the end, we installed Bolt-On Zipper™ ourselves. You don't have to be particularly skilled. With the right tools and by following the instructions, we were able to install it ourselves.
