Perhaps my voice may sound tired (it is), but all sorts of sacrifices are often worth it when one can hold a pen in the hand that will potentially be looked upon with pride from beyond eternity…. This video is a summary of the items available for the upcoming Commonwealth Pen Show this Sunday: three unique inks we can not put into full production due to limited supplies, gold nibs that are even more limited (yet cost significantly less than other similar gold nibs on the market), and some items that were previously limited - but are now in good supply (such as ink ball tips). A couple dozen people showed up last time…and I can assure you if turnout is the same you’ll have choices direct from Noodler’s (and pricing) that is more than competitive (the Konrad fitted with a custom threaded and shaped all ebonite nib mount for an early 1950s 14K gold nib for example…is $70 total - which includes just the gold content over the regular cost). Without marking up gold content, it is by any measure a good deal… It is thus my hope that even if only a dozen people show up and it is a day of bad weather…those people might leave smiling.
