J&K Daily Wagers Regularisation: Tanvir Sadiq Seeks Report by October 31 | News18 J&K

A major update has emerged for daily wagers and temporary employees in Jammu and Kashmir who have been waiting for regularisation for years. National Conference spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq has urged Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo to submit the report on the regularisation of daily wagers by October 31, 2026, to prevent further delays. A committee formed by the government in March 2025 was tasked with examining the number of workers, legal requirements and financial implications of regularisation. However, the report is still awaited. Submission of the report does not guarantee immediate regularisation, as the government will also need to consider recruitment rules, administrative requirements and available financial resources. All eyes are now on the October 31 deadline and the government's next steps. #JKDailyWagers #DailyWagers #Regularisation #JammuAndKashmir #TanvirSadiq #AtalDulloo | News 18 J&K #KashmirNews #JammuNews Find the Latest News, Top Headlines, and Breaking news.
