George Skipper - The Triumphs & Tragedies of Norfolk’s Grand Seaside Hotels

In this video I take a closer look at the once-glorious original Cliff Hotel at Gorleston-On-Sea, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk - a building that no longer stands. I talk about the history of the distinctive Victorian hotel and then start looking at a range of buildings designed by the famous Norwich-based architect George John Skipper. The video takes us to Cromer, Norwich and Lowestoft on a journey of discovery - looking at several of his fine East Anglian buildings. Commentary by Ian M Bullock.
