Grade 6 French Lesson 4 | Se présenter : Mon lieu de naissance In this Grade 6 French lesson, learners continue learning how to se présenter (introduce themselves) in French. In this lesson, learners will learn how to: Ask where someone was born: Où es-tu né(e) ? Say where they were born: Je suis né à… / Je suis née à… Use né for a boy and née for a girl. Use à with the name of a city. Practise places and cities in Ghana, including Accra, Kumasi, Tema, Tamale, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Ho and Sunyani. Participate in a simple dialogue about place of birth. 🎯 Learning goal: By the end of this lesson, learners should be able to ask and answer questions about their place of birth in a simple French conversation. 💬 Key expressions Où es-tu né(e) ? — Where were you born? Je suis né à Accra. — I was born in Accra. (boy) Je suis née à Kumasi. — I was born in Kumasi. (girl) 📍 Remember: Use à when saying the city where you were born.
