Welcome back to The Forgotten Workshop! 🗂️❤️ Today we're opening WORKSHOP FILE 004 — BLUEPRINT, and I get to show you not only my own interpretation, but the wonderful creations made by members of our little Workshop community. And what an incredible collection of ideas they came up with! 🤩 You'll see blueprints transformed into interactive journal pages, hidden areas, folding structures, pop-ups, expandable pockets, unexpected materials and some wonderfully clever paper engineering. I've included both photographs and videos wherever possible, and repeated some of the moving mechanisms so we can get a better look at how they work. One of my favourite things about these challenges is that we're all given the same assignment — yet nobody creates the same thing. ❤️ There is no single “correct” interpretation. The prompt is simply a starting point, and then we see where our imagination takes us. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and allowed me to share their work. At first, they sit together compactly on the page. Pull one element and the structure extends, climbs or cascades, revealing parts that were previously hidden. How the Archive Ladder works is entirely up to you. It might travel upwards, downwards, sideways — or perhaps somewhere we weren't expecting. 😁 One pull. Several sections. A chain of discoveries.
