all of the angels - an experiment in 16mm

I watched Wild At Heart (1992) by David Lynch after his passing and it changed my life and this is a result of that. Make what you will of it. It’s a metaphor to a million things, whichever resonates with you let it be that meaning. Starring my very own angel. Made for a course at The New School where we made 3 films that were shot on 16mm Kodak film as short intensive one-day shoots. The only edits are in sound, color grade, & titles. To note, this publishing does cut 30 seconds of overexposed footage in the opening, otherwise every effect seen is done in camera while shooting with the Bolex. Thematically the collection explores my love for the fantastical and surreal as well as history & the influences behind my work.
