All 11 St. Louis Cardinals World Series Championships

Commemorating a century since the St. Louis Cardinals first of several more World Series Titles. Starting off as the St. Louis Brown Stockings in the team’s inaugural season of 1882, becoming the St. Louis Cardinals in 1900, and eventually winning that historic first ever World Series Championship 100 years ago this very day on Oct. 10, 1926. Since then, the Cardinals have flown as high as the Arch, in the National League, MLB as a whole and all of baseball. List of St. Louis Cardinals World Series seasons: 1926, 1931, 1934, 1942, 1944, 1946, 1964, 1967, 1982, 2006, and 2011. Hopefully the St. Louis Cardinals can reach World Series #12 before long too. Unmentioned fact in video: Bob O’Farrell throwing out Babe Ruth to give the Cardinals their first World Series in franchise history, even after a century, remains the only time in MLB history a World Series has been concluded by a base runner being caught stealing.
