Morning Service in the New Temporary Zendo, Tassajara 2026

The Tassajara sangha has settled into a new temporary zendo located in the Retreat Hall. Now that guest season is in full swing, the zendo must be set up every evening for zazen and then put away after morning service the following day so that retreats can take place during the day. While this adds another layer to an already busy schedule for students, there is a silver lining: the high ceilings of the retreat hall create beautiful acoustics, as you may be able to hear in this video excerpt.
