Mobile library donation tackles literacy issues at Wentworth Primary

According to an international study conducted in 2021, 80 percent of grade four pupils in South Africa are unable to read for comprehension. In a significant step towards tackling the pressing literacy challenges, Tropic Plastics and Packaging generously donated three mobile libraries valued at just over R100, 000, to Wentworth Primary School. The co-ordination of this impactful project was spearheaded by the Yusuf Karodia Foundation, and the handover coincided with National Book Week, which is commemorated annually from September 5 to 11.
