Hollow Knight: Silksong | Part 47 | Defeating Phantom and Unlocking Cross Stitch

I'm continuing my Hollow Knight: Silksong playthrough, picking up where I left off in the Mist and trying to figure out how to navigate this labyrinth without going in circles. After some trial and error, I start following the butterflies through the Mist, dealing with enemies and traps along the way. Eventually, they lead me out of the labyrinth and into the Exhaust Organ, where I encounter Phantom. The fight takes a couple of attempts, but I eventually manage to defeat Phantom and unlock Cross Stitch, a new ability that lets me deflect incoming attacks with my needle. Not a bad reward for stumbling into what initially seemed like a random side area. Afterward, I do some more exploring, discover that the organ has stopped playing and the gas is no longer blowing, and make my way back to Sinner's Road. I eventually reach the Grand Bellway, but figuring out how to get to the Cogwork Core is going to have to wait until next time. This is a full commentary playthrough of Hollow Knight: Silksong. I'm not a pro and I'm not aiming for perfect runs or detailed walkthroughs. It's a raw, start-to-finish playthrough with honest reactions and real opinions as I go. New to the series?
