OLMA SEA CUP AS2066

These OLMA Sea-Cup watches have been with me for over 20 years. They kept good time, but setting them was always a struggle—until it stopped working altogether. Nobody in Prague wanted to repair them. When I finally found someone willing, the quote was around €550. So I started learning watch servicing myself and eventually repaired them for roughly a quarter of that price. A new hobby was born. I’m a professional musician and guitarist with a busy schedule. Watch servicing has become my way to unwind and take a break from music. Any music you hear in my watch videos is composed and recorded by me and my band. This video combines footage from the OLMA repair with clearer footage from servicing another watch with the identical AS2066 movement. That’s why you’ll sometimes see a light date disc instead of the OLMA’s black one. I still love wearing these Sea-Cups. Since the repair, they’ve been running beautifully—and setting the time finally works as it should.
