Kepler Track, Milford Sound, Routeburn Track | A Week of Solo Hiking in New Zealand

Join me on the first week of my solo adventure through the South Island of Aotearoa, New Zealand! Filmed in Nov/Dec 2025, I took on two of New Zealand’s most iconic Great Walks as a solo female hiker: • Part of the Kepler Track - 44km over 2 days and 1 night, camping in a tent • The full Routeburn Track - 3 days and 2 nights, staying at Lake Mackenzie and Routeburn Flat Huts • Plus a breathtaking day tour through Milford Sound (through Cruise Milford) I took a bus from Queenstown to Te Anau, completed the above, and then caught a bus back to Queenstown to continue the rest of my travels.
