Free State High Court braces for resumption of multi-million rand Asbestos case

The multi-million rand asbestos roof removal case is expected back in the Free State High Court in Bloemfontein on Friday. The trial was supposed to start in April, however it was postponed to the 14th of June. This relates to the alleged irregular awarding of the 255-million rand asbestos roof removal contract in the Free State in October 2014. 18 accused, including several companies, face more than 70 counts of corruption and money laundering.
